Marga Cava, PhD, E-RYT 200, started practicing yoga in high school, and it quickly became an integral part of her life. While studying Romance languages and living abroad, she studied with Iyengar masters and Buddhist and Tantric philosophers. After returning to the U.S., Marga began studying Anusara yoga with John Friend, Emily Huresky, Regina Grassia, and others. Her gurus and their method inspired her to begin teaching in 1999. More recently, Marga completed Wisdom Warrior Teacher Training with Desirée Rumbaugh and Karen Church. Marga bows in gratitude to all her teachers (family and friends) that have guided her on her journey.
As a Registered Yoga Alliance and Anusara-inspired teacher, Marga strives to facilitate a deeper understanding of bio-mechanical alignment and help her students tap into their inner wisdom and true light. Now, as co-founder of Align Amar Yoga, yoga instructor and high school teacher, she hopes to enrich her community by offering the practice of yoga, meditation, and mindful living.

Our signature alignment-based class geared towards beginners. If you are new to yoga or have dabbled in yoga in the past and are looking to rekindle your practice, then this class is for you! Students learn proper alignment in key yoga poses to increase flexibility, strength and balance. Students also learn how to coordinate breath and movement through basic flow sequences.
Afternoon Yoga is for all levels and ages to help unwind and reinvigorate after a stressful day. If you are new to yoga or looking to rekindle your practice, this class is for you! Learn proper alignment in key yoga poses to increase flexibility, strength, and balance, as well as coordinate breath and movement through basic flow sequences. Improve clarity of mind and ability to cope.
Mixed Level with Restorative
A complete Yoga class emphasizing mental and physical attention to different areas of the body each week with a wide variety of poses. Students are guided through the poses at their level by offering many pose options with a mindfulness on alignment and breath. Each class finishes with a sequence of restorative poses to allow for deeper opening and relaxing of the body and mind. Students of all levels welcome.
